He heard about the first Witiker Backyard Ultra the day before, on WhatsApp. It was sold out. Carsten gave him a place anyway, and the next morning he was on the start line. He is the only runner who has started every edition in Witikon.
In a proper race he has never run fewer than 25 loops. His most is 34, at the 2022 team championship, as Nima's assist. He has never broken down on the course. It was always the head.
